Attention ladies and gents, new and exciting things are happening at Cox Creek Cellars!

Firstly, we have a new white wine recently released, our ‘Sweet Apple Dreams’. It is a refreshing full bodied apple wine, made from a blend of six different apples, all of which are grow right on our very own orchard. This wine pairs well with appetizers of goat cheese and fruit, soft cheeses with a sharp taste, also with sweet and sour pork, pineapple ham, or curried chicken. Or keep it simple, pour it over ice and enjoy it on your deck.

Also hitting our shelves is the anticipated return of our beloved ‘Harvested Late Fall Gewürztraminer’. This fully matured wine has a rich body, harmonized sweetness, hint of spice and sent of rose, truly a luxurious wine. It pairs perfectly with desserts, fresh oysters or soft cheeses. At only 16.75/750ml this wine flies off the shelves so hurry in to pick up your bottles today! Many of you have pre-ordered your bottles and cases; they are now ready and waiting to be picked up.

Our ‘wine of the week’ is our traditional Merlot. This medium bodied, dry red wine has an under tone of cherry which makes it an ideal pairing for heavy red meats such as rib eye and roasts. $16.70/750ml – 10% off for a limited time only.

Just around the corner on September 8, 2013 is our 14th annual Hungarian Gypsy Goulash day. All you can eat Gypsy Goulash cooked over an open fire along with fresh buns, dessert and of course our very own wine tasting! What could be better? “Good company, good wine and good welcome make good people” – Shakespeare.
